Source Trading was founded in 1993 by Richard Breck, a buy-side trader, who worked for Mutual Shares. When he started Source Trading, he set up a firm focused on the aspects of trading most critical to him as a
buy-side trader.
Each trader undergoes extensive training under Richard’s personal guidance – one of the top buy-side traders in the business. Each trader is brought into the Source Trading culture to operate as a tight knit team for the benefit of our clients. All traders learn to actively listen to their clients and respond with the expertise necessary to optimally manage their clients’ trades.
Our passion is client execution – getting the best price on each order for each client.
We have multiple traders on the desk who are second-generation traders. Trading is in our genes. And our clients are the beneficiaries.
Source Trading’s terrific back office team ensures efficient settlement with minimal trade breaks and quick response to any settlement or soft dollar questions.
